Swiss Fintech Alliance Adopts Corporate Governance Policy and Think Tank Charter

The Swiss Fintech Alliance (SFA) has formally adopted a new Corporate Governance Policy and a dedicated Think Tank Charter. Both documents were approved at the association meeting on 17 February 2026.

The Corporate Governance Policy sets out principles of institutional independence, transparency and responsible representation of interests. It confirms that the SFA does not make financial contributions to political parties or elected representatives and maintains a clear separation between association activities and specialist formats.

The Think Tank Charter defines the mission, governance structure and working methods of the SFA Think Tank. Its objective is to promote objective, evidence-based and forward-looking dialogue on regulatory and economic policy developments affecting the Swiss financial centre. The 2026 focus areas include banking regulation, fintech and stablecoin regulation, and Switzerland’s competitiveness as a business location.

Together, these documents strengthen the SFA’s institutional framework and provide a transparent foundation for its policy work and specialist activities.
